Setting Up Divisions

Does your camp often schedule multiple groups to be at the same activity together? Creating divisions allows you the option to schedule an activity with multiple groups participating together. This can be useful if you want to make sure groups of similar age or gender are scheduled for a certain activity during the same period.

Creating a New Division:

  1. Select Groups & Divisions from the settings tool bar on the left of your screen. Once you have the tab up, divisions will be option two on the right side.

  2. Before setting up divisions, you must already have all your groups created (NOTE: if you need to add a group later on to a division you can go back to Divisions and do so after you add that group).
  3. Double check you are working in the correct session. The session you are currently working in is listed above the orange Import aDivision button. This can be changed by clicking the drop down arrow.

  4. Next you can either Add a New Division or Import a Division you may have used in a previous session or season.
    1. When adding a new division, give the division a name and assign a two or three digit code.
    2. To the right, check the groups you want to be included in the division.
    3. Finish by saving your new division. Division Details

Important Checks:

  • If an activity can be scheduled by divisions, be sure the group capacity is at least two, but no more than the number of groups in a given division.
